Mischa holds deep affinity to classical composers such as Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin and Brahms. One of the major influences on his musical interpretation is the

extensive training in Baroque music from the Indiana University Early Music department. He took Baroque performance practice, ornamentation and improvisation classes. Meanwhile, he keeps up his interest in contemporary composers. In one of his recent concerts, he performed an all-American-composer-concert with Soprano Sarah Jensvold. He enjoys performing as a soloist, a chamber musician and a recording artist. The CD album “Mischa Chun-Wai Ngan - Live Recital” was his first release from his recording projects.
